*Hackathon
What is a hackathon?
A hackathon is an event, typically between 24-48 hours, where people meet up and create various tech projects. Experience levels can range from zero experience to industry professionals, as the purpose of hackathons is to learn and meet others. Participants are encouraged to present their project at the end of the event, but are generally not required. For more information, check out 'Hackathons are for Beginners', by Tim Fogarty.
